My Approach to Co-Parenting Coaching in Los Angeles
Your children are undoubtedly the most significant part of your life, and the thought of them suffering due to separation or divorce might be your greatest concern. Transitioning from marriage to co-parenting can be daunting, filled with confusion, fear, and anxiety. I am here to offer clarity and a way forward.
As a co-parenting coach in Los Angeles, I provide a customized approach tailored to the unique needs of your co-parenting situation. You will receive the necessary knowledge and tools to confidently navigate your co-parenting relationship, ensuring you continue to nurture secure, well-adjusted children. They deserve this foundation, and so do you.
Through my guidance, you’ll transform into a collaborative co-parenting team, laying a solid foundation for your children in two homes. You’ll learn to detach from past conflicts, facilitating healing and reducing triggers, criticism, and defensiveness. Discover how your attachment styles influence your interactions and master more effective communication techniques. By shifting from conflict to cooperation, you’ll make decisions that prioritize your children’s needs. By uniting, you ensure they remain insulated from parental conflicts and more in tune with their needs, aiding them in processing their feelings. A child who maintains at least one secure relationship with a caregiver can truly thrive.
I have developed the six Cs of cooperative co-parenting: commitment, collaboration, clarity, consistency, connection, and community. These principles are rooted in secure attachment research and are detailed in my book, Cooperative Coparenting for Secure Kids: The Attachment Theory Guide to Raising Kids in Two Homes.
Whether we meet in person in Los Angeles or through online co-parenting coaching across California, these methods are designed to foster a nurturing environment for your children across two households.
Co-Parenting Coaching FAQ
Do you offer in-person co-parenting coaching in Los Angeles?
Yes. I see co-parents in person at my Silver Lake office, and I also offer online sessions if you’d rather meet remotely or you’re outside the area.
Where is your office located?
My office is at 3371 Glendale Boulevard, Suite 214, on the Silver Lake and Atwater Village border in Los Angeles.
Which Los Angeles areas do you serve in person?
I work with parents from across the east side of Los Angeles, including Silver Lake, Atwater Village, Echo Park, Los Feliz, Glendale, and Highland Park.
Can I combine in-person and online sessions?
Yes. Many parents mix the two, meeting in person when it helps and switching to video when schedules or distance make that easier. We’ll find the rhythm that works for your family.
Do both co-parents need to come to the office together?
No. You can come together or separately. Many parents start on their own and bring both co-parents in when it makes sense, and coaching can still help even if only one of you takes part.
